POSITION: Regional Sales Engineer / Executive
DEPARTMENT / FUNCTION: Sales & Business Development - Mexico
REPORTING COMPANY: Bombas C.R.I. Espana
LOCATION: Queretaro, Monterrey, Mexico City ( CDMX).
REPORTING TO: Manager – Marketing & Sales / Zonal Manager / VP
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Graduate degree required. Engineering / technical qualification or business qualification preferred.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years in sales, marketing, business development or channel sales; pump, motor, water systems, industrial equipment, building services or related B2B technical products preferred.
- Experience in Spanish regional sales, distributor management, project selling or contractor/installer networks will be an advantage.
- Spanish fluency required. English working proficiency required for coordination with C.R.I. group teams and business reporting. Additional regional languages are an advantage.
- Willingness to travel extensively within assigned Spanish region(s) and occasionally for meetings, training or group business requirements.
- Indicative: 25 to 35 years; suitable candidates outside this range may be considered based on relevant experience and capability.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Regional Sales Executive will be responsible for developing sales, distribution coverage, customer relationships and market intelligence for Bombas C.R.I. Espana within the assigned Spanish region(s). The role combines channel management, direct customer development, technical selling support and disciplined business reporting to achieve profitable growth across regular and focus product segments.
- Prepare and execute regional sales plans aligned with the annual business plan of C.R.I. Fluid Systems Mexico.
- Develop sales opportunities for water well, building services, wastewater, industrial, mining, process and related pump applications.
- Identify, appoint, develop and manage distributors, dealers and channel partners by region, segment and product line.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, installers, contractors, consultants, OEMs, project customers and end users.
- Generate enquiries, quotations, orders and revenue from assigned accounts and territories while monitoring both top-line growth and contribution margins.
- Follow up on overdue payments, receivables and commercial documentation in coordination with finance and operations teams.
- Provide technical-commercial guidance on pump selection, applications, operating conditions and product positioning, escalating complex technical cases where required.
- Participate in national and regional exhibitions, trade fairs, conventions, product demonstrations and promotional events to strengthen brand visibility.
- Conduct distributor/dealer education sessions, product workshops, sales training and customer awareness programs.
- Track competitor activity, pricing trends, customer requirements, regulations, market potential and emerging opportunities in the assigned region.
- Support demand planning, inventory visibility and stock control by sharing sales forecasts and market inputs with operations and management.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, visit reports, pipeline updates, MIS reports and market intelligence summaries on a scheduled basis.
- Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, ethical business standards and applicable local requirements in Spain.
