Lo scopo principale \u00e8 trasferire ossigeno al liquido o al fango. Gli aeratori a getto sono facilmente configurabili in qualsiasi geometria del bacino, inclusi reattori circolari, rettangolari, ad anello e bacini a parete inclinata. In questo aeratore l&#8217;aria aspirata si mescola con l&#8217;acqua e viene espulsa attraverso il diffusore agitando e aerando contemporaneamente l&#8217;acqua accumulata.
