I tubi in PVC sono progettati appositamente per le pompe sommergibili e sono in grado di gestire sia la pressione idrostatica interna che l&#8217;elevato carico di trazione causato dal peso della pompa, dal peso del cavo e dalla pressione e dal peso dell&#8217;acqua della colonna. Il sistema di bloccaggio PBTS (Polymer Bond Thread Sink) \u00e8 fornito per evitare l&#8217;allentamento dell&#8217;accoppiatore durante la rimozione dei tubi. Uno speciale polimero viene iniettato nei fili tramite l&#8217;accoppiatore. Il polimero forma un legame permanente tra raccordo e tubo, annullando cos\u00ec ogni possibilit\u00e0 di allentamento del raccordo. All&#8217;estremit\u00e0 delle filettature \u00e8 fornita una speciale guarnizione in gomma per garantire giunti a tenuta stagna al 100% anche ad alta pressione.
