Las bombas VT est\u00e1n dise\u00f1adas para funcionar sin verse afectadas por grandes fluctuaciones del nivel del agua. Estas bombas se suministran con impulsor de flujo mixto o flujo axial para un mayor requerimiento de flujo. El eje de transmisi\u00f3n en los tubos de la columna est\u00e1 soportado por un cojinete del eje de l\u00ednea con un sistema de enfriamiento externo o propio. Estas bombas se pueden instalar en aplicaciones de pozo h\u00famedo o seco.
